*** "In late 2006 the punkest incarnation of Mount Eerie convened in Anacortes, Washington, made up of Phil Elverum, Jason Anderson, and Kjetil Jenssen (prodigy drummer from the cult hardcore band “The Spectacle” from arctic Norway!). They translated 10 or so songs of Mt. Eerie and The Microphones into a vastly heavier form. They made this recording in the former fire department garage/venue “The Department of Safety”. Half of the songs are never-before released, half are reinterpretations of previously released soft songs. This 10” comes with a 21”x21” fold out double sided poster, a white vinyl record, and a CD."
