Released by the label arm of SF's Groove Merchant Records, Trap Door sounded too good to be true. The mix is totally solid: vintage dirt, funky rock, outerspace surf, and the outright bizarre. It was featured at least three times in our mailing list recommendations and is so fine that I bought copies for myself on CD and LP. And it's $10.
